Life is strange. Used to mock religion and lean hard left. Now, seeing society struggle, I've shifted conservative and realized my values line up with Christians. Maybe the world would be better with more of them. Even thinking about trying church, just not sure where to start.

The era of gracefully ageing with loved family members, has unfortunately gone for most.

I think, if we can’t fix it, at least we can go closer.

At some point of time when your own children and partner (these days aging with partner is highly unlikely as opposed to a divorce or chronic disease), wouldn’t make you feel relevant any more,

it would probably be better to sort out the finance and move to a potentially-remote community or place that do care for elders and start a new second life.

Whether you get a new partner or your old partner chose to tag along with you, or whether you decide to open up a dog kennel or clinics run by partially by charity / government programs or mobile repair shop etc, it’s up to your specific situation and personality.

No matter what, low stress, health and an environment of love, have to be priority as we gracefully age.
