LABOR APPOINTS AN EX-LABOR POLITICIAN TO OVERSEE CONFLICTS OF INTEREST IN REGARD TO CORRUPTION.

What better way to cover up any inquires into corruption by the Labor Party, than appointing an ex-Labor politician.

The inherent conflict of interest should have precluded Robert McClelland from accepting the role as chair of the National Anti-Corruption Commission.

The former NACC chair had to resign over a failure to declare a conflict of interest yet here we are.

To be honest I was always sceptical that the NACC would be nothing more than a toothless tiger.

And with over $220 million spent to date and not one conviction to its name, the NACC has become just another useless bureaucracy.
