@NexusTeamHQ @asha_shar Humans are Forerunner, Bungie Halo Devs made it abundantly clear & 343i ruined it by retconning H/F into separate species. Delete all 343i lore & restore Bungie lore to make a real Halo 4 & explore humans reclaiming our Fore-tech or prequel/spinoffs during the H/C war

@lastprecursor @game_fabricator True, without the later context of Halo Contact Harvest in H3 Truth just seems to know with his “forefathers” speech to Johnson but I suppose after Spark does his line later we’re meant to reflect on it like “wait a minute that crazy mf Truth knew!” sorta thing

@lastprecursor @game_fabricator When it was written there was no interpretation it was fact, as for wrapping it up what more was there to do ironically just like my POTA example both drop it on you & leave it there for it all to sink in. 343i could’ve expanded on it faithfully but instead they ruined it

@lastprecursor @game_fabricator I use the POTA example because as a kid playing H3 Sparks line "You are the child of my makers, inheritor of all they left behind. You are Forerunner... but this ring is mine!" was just as impactful as the POTA Statue of Liberty reveal to me so to see it all tainted by 343i sucks

@lastprecursor @game_fabricator Halo has been dead to me since 343i retcon making humans & Forerunners a separate species, it’s like if new writers came along for the OG Planet of the Apes films & said “Actually it wasn’t Earth all along” with convoluted excuses for how the Statue of Liberty got on a new planet

@asha_shar can easily do the same to restore Bungie lore, plus applicable 343i lore can be retrofitted easily to fit with human Forerruners such as changing dates to match Bungie timeline like 150,000 BCE for FR empire rise

@user_breathless @game_fabricator Not limiting to me, new opportunitys such as if the Didact (ancient human) was brought back would he try to reclaim our FR tech, or how human Insurrectionists might work with him or use FR tech against ONI. Cov remnants worshipping the Didact as a living god (unaware he is human)

@game_fabricator I’m in favour of resetting back to post Halo 3 for a real Halo 4 where humans are Forerunner again so Chief and Cortana’s story will never be complete for me personally since as far as I’m concerned they are still drifting in space in the wreck of the Frigate

@3DSkullins @Halo @asha_shar Paul Russel's H3 Terminal part explains that Precursors uplifted a portion of humanity who spread across the galaxy building what would become the "Forerunner Empire" 150,000 BCE until the end of the Flood War where the Libarian rediscovers Earth (Eden) their ancestral home world

@asha_shar I want a return to Bungie lore for @Halo, multiple Bungie Halo devs have confirmed their intentions that humans are Forerunner, 343i needlessly retconned it so restore Bungie lore to save Halo & if any 343i/HS lore is kept it needs to be retrofitted to fit Bungie lore or deleted
