Horses are my love, writing (of many forms) is for fun, tweeting happens in between that and work, footy, TV, harness racing & family.. I can multitask?
When your foal is an affectionate little critter who loves pats and you're a keep your distance kinda Mum who couldn't think of anything worse. #AbbieLincoln
What the character limit didn't let me say this day was that the first call was to Joey Thompson who made all of this happen. That's what he did, he helped everyone. RIP to a wonderful man.
The kindness of people β€οΈ on the way to Mildura and ran into car trouble just outside Wycheproof. A few calls later and Ryan Sanderson brought @racing_shaneβs ute to hook onto our float and get us to the track, a 6 hour round trip. This sport has some wonderful people involved.
Abbie's a Mum! My baby girl had her own baby girl on Saturday morning. π All is going well, and we'll get them home this weekend. Thanks to @EquineRivers for the best of care, as always. #AbbieLincoln#TheStormInside@Alabarfarms
.@ghall27: "How's his clock going these days as he gets older."
@garyhalljr: "How's his what going?!" π

@maree_newberry@AdamHSport@eurekarace Yes. As someone pointed out, horses "bred for the Eureka" wouldn't have even raced yet, making this statement farcical. 100% the bigger first win bonus is the reason, but it doesn't fit the narrative of everyone getting something instead of the 1% getting it all.
