SLINGSHOT IS THE MOST CONTROVERSIAL TECHNIQUE I TEACH!
If you get beat on the backside of wide zone, the only recovery is grabbing the defender's hip with your backside hand. Trying to get your head across will only push him toward the play.
Congratulations to our very own @MasseyKimya for being named one of the Top Athletic Directors in America by @SilverWaveMedia!

New Florida Football Head Coach Jon Sumrall said the biggest mistake young coaches make is trying to do too much too early.

@GovMonsterr Yeah that’s fair but I still think you need a tool if you do get beat… and the point is continuing to fight to get your head across when you are behind only makes the situation worse
@Coachcourcy75 Maybe… but in my experience if you let it go pretty quickly it’s generally a no call. They tend to look for that sustained grab IMO. I hear you tho 😂
@CoachGroce That’s fair… you see a similar technique taught on ST return teams sometimes when you’re trying to block a defender that’s a little ahead of you.
