Happy 4 of July: Let’s make people angry! A powerful Black woman, the first Black woman elected as San Francisco District Attorney, the first woman, and the first Black person to serve as California Attorney General. She was also the second Black woman ever elected to the U.S. Senate and the first woman to serve as acting President of the United States when presidential powers were temporarily transferred to her during President Joe Biden’s medical procedure on November 19, 2021. Additionally, she was the first Black woman nominated for president by a major U.S. political party when she became the Democratic nominee in 2024! Her name is Kamala Harris!!!
