🚨BREAKING: Kayleigh McEnany just said: "America does not have a white supremacy problem. It has a spoiled, unhinged, white liberals problem."
What's your reaction?
Whenever you feel like you're "missing out" on something, come back and read this. Again and again. And, if this helps you, share it with a friend . . .
In today’s world, social media throws the “good times”—or at least the seemingly good times—in our faces more than ever before. And, we all either contribute to, or succumb to, the online onslaught of hollow posting, humble bragging, and the never-ending stream of captions, videos, and photos all proclaiming, “Look what I’m doing!” We’re guilty of viewing it, we’re guilty of doing it, and we’re guilty of feeling it whenever we’re not the one doing it. So, if you’re someone who derives your self-esteem from being seen, liked, or shared, the next few paragraphs are for you.
Now, whatever the reason for your feelings of envy, jealousy, or insignificance—not being invited to a big event, having prior commitments, or having an unhealthy addiction to viewing the lives of complete strangers that you have no real relationship with—the “fear of missing out,” or more simply, the “feeling” of missing out is, in my opinion, the leading cause of much of modern society’s anxiety and depression.
I’m fortunate enough to have grown up before social media turned the world upside down; I spent many weekends in high school and college doing absolutely nothing—without even a second’s thought given to what I was potentially missing—and, it was fucking awesome.
In society’s clout-chasing digital landscape, with billions of people competing for relevance, far too many of us spend just as much, if not more, time focusing on the lives of others than we do focusing on our own. And if you’ve ever tried to multitask two significant things at once, you’ve probably learned that it’s not possible to get the best result from either one.
And, what’s more significant than life itself?
In other words, you cannot live your best life if you’re constantly focusing on the lives of other people. Because your focus is scattered on shit that does not—and should not—matter to you. FOMO is a form of self-betrayal because it denies the importance of your own life. FOMO is a dildo that’s quite literally fucking you into believing that your own life is boring. And, if you want to stop fucking yourself, you have to start focusing on yourself.
If you want to live your best life, you must redefine what FOMO means in your life: Focus On Moving On. Focus on what’s coming next in your own life. Focus on what you have ahead of you. Focus on whatever it is that you have to do—or can do—rather than dwelling on whatever it is that others are doing. Move on from the feeling of missing out and move forward with your own life—before you miss out on THAT life.

Someday, you're going to wake up and say, "Holy fuck, this is my life." So, do whatever you can today, tomorrow, and the next to ensure that the "fuck" you say on that day is being used in a positive fucking way.
Chicago River Snapper aka Chonkosaurus. Great to see this beast thriving here on what was once such a toxic river, but is slowly getting cleaned up & restored. Somebody planted a bunch of native plants up the river from here, too. I can only wonder this things been eating.
I don’t know why there aren’t massive protests in Arizona by now
They’ve rigged the last 2 elections and even shut down Maricopa machines right in front of your faces in 2022
