What I find interesting is how they made Rue the one to contact Fez in front of us as viewers, not Lexi. Remember earlier in the season when Lexi was being really cold about her relationship with Fez, even when Rue was encouraging her to go see him? There is something off about that. I wonder what it is.
I genuinely believe that we shifted into an alternate reality after 2019. Time is different, people have changed, and things don’t feel the same. We now live in an eerie post-apocalyptic emotionless society reminiscent of black mirror. Call me crazy but I believe this.
