Great to see @CLEMayorsOffice and @Griff4CLE6 cracking down on wage theft and pay inequity! A proud moment in my time in City Hall was helping revive this dormant board and pass critical workers’ rights legislation with our union partners. Excited to see the work carried on.

We have revived the Fair Employment Wage Board, which is now operational for the first time in 20 years. This October, the Pay Transparency Law will go into effect.

As Labor Day approaches, we honor labor’s role in building Cleveland.

Ohio Senate Bill 1 is a direct attack on our higher education system — it's anti-worker, anti-democratic, and an affront to academic freedom.

Great to join civil rights law firm, Friedman, Gilbert & Gerhardstein @CLE_State yesterday. Everyone deserves a honest and fair justice system, and I'm glad there are good lawyers on the case when it fails.
