Today, on the podcast: @austinmann, a storyteller, photographer, and adventurer whose work has been featured in Apple's Shot on iPhone campaigns.
We talk:

- The difference between a technically correct photo versus capturing a story
- Why lightning is the inspiration for Austin's career in photography
@DOTHawaii so saddened to see what’s happening in Maui. my family is staying near Kaanapali Beach, just north of Lahaina. What is the best route for them to get to OGG airport tomorrow?
Another gorgeous app from the Lux team - Skylight! I love this tool for planning shoots and find it compliments other planning tools like PhotoPills really nicely. Check it out.
Ever wish you knew ahead of time when you’d get absolutely beautiful light? A vibrant sunset, or just a really nice golden hour?
So did we. Here it is: @RebeccaSlatkin, @sandofksy and I bring you Skylight Forecast, an app that predicts sunset quality. https://t.co/Et4zIhXbFJ

@ivancantarino I have a @MOOTSCYCLES Vamoots RCS — which is considered an alll-road bike. I run 32mm Panaracer Gravel King tires on it and it’s awesome for both pavement and smooth dirt!
I know I am in a tiny minority of loving — and I mean LOVING — the 3× lens on iPhone, but this change is significant. The best telephoto images I’ve shot yet.
