In honor of #WomensHistoryMonth2021, the Austin Prep Football Team would like to recognize Dr. Jen Welter @jwelter47 for being the 1st female to coach in the NFL. In the summer of ‘15 she served as LB coach for the Arizona Cardinals. Welter is a pioneer in professional football.

In honor of #BlackHistoryMonth2021, we would like to recognize Coach Alvin Reynolds. Mr. Reynolds was a 19-year NFL and 10-year college coach, including @FootballBentley where he also serves as Athletics Director of Diversity. An impactful volunteer coach with Reading Pop Warner

In honor of #BlackHistoryMonth2021, the @AustinPrepFB program would like to recognize Kenny Washington. Mr. Washington was a UCLA legend who ran for over 9000 yds in his career & became the first African American to sign & play for a professional football franchise in 1946
