I think when you rely on a demographic that sometimes doesn’t show up being up 20 points in a poll can be bad for you. I think she was also hurt by some of her supporters not showing up and just thinking she had it in the bag (looking at you DANE COUNTY)
Hong lost because: bad press and debates in the last two weeks, refusal to run TV spots, inability to secure an AOC and/or Bernie endorsement and Evers spending the last month hammering that she would get blown out in November. I don’t think polls helped either
Neither of them are performing well enough in what should be their strongest counties, rough stuff. I do think this proves that candidates without a Bernie/AOC/Zohran endorsement are significantly weaker electoral
@jacobdotgov Was literally about to say this. For as much as Hong is underperforming in Dane, Crowley is having the same issue in Milwaukee. Pretty embarrassing
NEW: Michigan QB Bryce Underwood on how different the Ohio State game is from any other:
"It’s just another game. Just, with guys in a different color. That’s how I see it."

Like honestly I think Crowley will be fine campaigning with Hong and Barnes shouldn’t be an issue but Evers has just been saying things he really shouldn’t have that are going to make him look bad
Politico: Wisconsin Democrats are planning a unity tour immediately after tonight primaries.
First is a breakfast on Wednesday that Senator Tammy Baldwin and Governor Tony Evers are expected to attend with the Democratic nominee for Wisconsin Governor.
A rally is also planned in Milwaukee for the Democratic nominee for Governor with the losing candidates in attendance.
J.J. McCarthy missed his entire rookie season due to injury and started just ten games last year, with Minnesota winning six of them. Now the still only 23-year-old will be forced to be a backup
#Michigan HC Kyle Whittingham on his comments about not hating Ohio State from Big Ten media days:
“Do we have a better chance of winning if I hated them? I don’t understand. Whatever gives us the best chance to win, I’m all for it. I want to beat them worst than anybody.”
When we lose baseball next year it will be bc the MLBPA only cares that the top 1% of players get paid. A cap gets everyone paid, but it means Skubal gets $200 million instead of $300 million
Thirty years of women fighting to get this league built, and the question on the table this week is what a woman is. Needing a committee to find that answer is a disservice to every girl who was told this league was for her.
TRENDING: During 2019 free agency, Kawhi Leonard and his team reportedly requested several illegal incentives from ex-Lakers’ owner Jeanie Buss.
Jeanie immediately informed Kawhi’s uncle and agent, Dennis Robertson, that these demands violated the NBA's CBA, Buss rejected them and made it clear they breached league rules.
Insane.
I’m not humoring the Red Sox because I don’t want to get my hopes up but they are the hottest team in baseball too. Point being it’s not a guarantee by any means that the Skubal gets the Dodgers a 3peat
“The Dodgers ruined baseball.”
A banner carrying that message flew over Wrigley Field as new Dodgers star Tarik Skubal made his first start, as the team’s big spending fuels a wider debate over competitive balance and a potential MLB salary cap. https://t.co/ISsvMstAwP
Like they are injured to shit, what if that continues into the postseason? What if the Cubs or the Braves or the Brewers or even the Phillies are healthy and hot? What if the Rays get revenge for 2020?
