It's a little infuriating that there is just so much discourse about Episode 9 of Digital Circus. People are talking about it as if it has just released normally and not just leaked completely. Some people don't even care to tag spoilers anymore.

@Scotwindgem @peronyawns This panel from Chapter 152 of Stone Ocean states that Jotaro defeated DIO in 1989, so Part 3 has to begin in 1988. Regardless idk what DiU says but I'd consider this panel confirmation.

@Scotwindgem @peronyawns Part 3 takes place from 88-89. If I had to guess, this scene likely took place in 88 since I don't imagine Tomoko waited too many days before attempting to get Josuke to the hospital.

@images_i_hate2 I wouldn't say he was just "given" it. He's a trained pro-bender which emphasised quick and fluid earthbending, exactly the type best suited to bend lava. He also practiced metalbending but failed, since it just didn't suit him. He's no Toph, but I think he earned his ability.

@altades_art I always attributed his apparent muscularity to his very high Constitution, although that doesn't make too much sense either. Fjord has more Strength than the average person so his appearance sorta makes sense. He was a deckhand on a ship so it'd make sense for him to be strong.
