@dp_oneill So why aren't the ACA plans the logical choice for the shopping experience? They sit between medicaid and employer PPOs in terms of breadth and affordability. Cost sharing kind of a mess but could be fixed i think
@Bkclaims Was an analyst on the biggest bank doing this. interesting credit risk issue because the conversion rate to A shares wasn’t final pending outstanding litigation, so there was significant counterparty risk.
It all happened in 09 and was a major source of equity for banks post gfc

@jasonprgressive@paulg Yes, obvious but it’s beside the point. You can try to tell this to people struggling to buy groceries all day and it won’t ease the sense of unfairness. It’s a human reality and the more rich people say “no, me making billions is actually good for you”, the angrier ppl get
