$h!t That School Doesn’t Teach You – #2: Your Body Talks, Listen to It
Some people grow up. Some people just get older.
The difference?
Let’s talk about a healthy body. Your body is roughly 60 percent water—it acts like oil for your organs, joints and skin. Without enough water, everything runs rough and slows down. Food is the fuel for Your body. Your body also gives you cravings for certain foods which you should listen to. Your body needs minerals, salt, sugar or vitamins in your foods. Try to eat healthy foods but when you don’t, it’s okay, just eat things in moderation so your stomach doesn’t stretch and demand bigger portions. Once again, like brushing your teeth, you can eat junk food for one day, it’s okay, you can eat junk food for one week, it’s okay, if you eat junk food for a month or more and do it all the time, you’re gonna be very fucking sick after five years.
Having smaller portions will allow your stomach to shrink to a smaller portion size. And that way it will send a signal to your brain telling you that you are full quicker, rather than having large meals which expand your stomach. And then those signals aren’t telling you you are full until you have had food enough to fill that expanded stomach.
Your body will tell you when you’re hungry. I believe you should only eat when your body tells you when you are feeling hungry. That means we don’t necessarily need to eat three times a day. You can have 2,3,4 or 5 meals a day as long as they’re smaller portions so your stomach doesn’t expand. Sometimes society expects us to eat three times a day. And society also tells us, oh, you need to have a good breakfast in the morning for energy. But some people believe that you should only eat when you get hungry. If you’re not hungry in the morning, you should wait till your stomach tells you you’re hungry. That way your metabolism is working and using up all the food from the day before. And that way you’re not going to be putting on weight. So I believe, and like so many others, that it’s a good idea to only eat when you’re hungry. Listen to your hunger signals because that’s important—your stomach will always tell you you’re hungry—but with water it won’t, it’ll only tell you once.
Pay extra attention to thirst because it only tells you once; ignore it and you can become dehydrated without further reminders. If you drink coffee, tea, energy drinks, alcohol, take meds or do drugs, chase them with plain water to compensate since they all pull water out of you. Someone who smokes, drinks alcohol and drinks coffee might need four to six litres a day more than someone who doesn’t do any of those. Too much sugar is no good for circulation, so compensate with more water, some exercise and extra vegetables and fruit during the week along with whatever comfort food you’re having. Even when you’re eating, pause five minutes so your stomach can signal fullness to your brain before you overdo it.
That’s growing up, not just getting older. If you know somebody who would benefit from this advice, whether they’re 12 or 40 or more, please share this post with them.

Some people grow up. Some people just get older.
The difference? Learning the basics that keep your body working for decades instead of falling apart in your 30s or 40s. I’m doing this on X because if I could, I’d have written a book—but kids aren’t picking up books these days, so this is the best way to reach them.
Start with hygiene. Your body is constantly sending you messages—it tells you when you need to piss, when you need to shit, when you need to eat, when you need to drink, and other cravings. Your guts is always talking to your brain and your organs are talking to your brain. Your bowels talk to your brain. Your kidneys will talk to you by giving you pain when you don’t have enough water. Organs will tell you by sending messages to your brain—you have to interpret them and you’ll know how to act on those impulses. But listen to your body. If you ignore those signals, problems build up quietly. For good hygiene, try to have a shit before you have a shower so you can wash your bum hole properly and it won’t be itchy all day. Shower every day, minimum five minutes or maximum eight or nine. That includes washing your hair with a small amount of shampoo—it also stimulates and massages your scalp, which is great for circulation. My belief is also by stimulating your scalp every day, I think that would prevent hair loss. But that’s just my opinion.
The best way to wash your bum hole and in your cheeks is to squat—that’s also good for flexibility if you squat in the shower every morning. Same with showering: start at the top, hair, face, body, then private parts, legs and feet last so nothing festers. It’s good to have a routine when you go into the shower every day or bath or squatting when you wash—to have a routine like starting at the top, doing face, doing body, underarms, private parts, your legs, toes and feet. And then keep the same routine every day so you don’t actually forget to do any of those steps. I also brush my teeth in the shower—that way I know I shower every day and at least brush my teeth once a day without forgetting over the basin. Take brushing your teeth. Miss one day? No big deal. Miss a week? Still okay. Miss a month? You’re rolling the dice. Do it for five years straight and your teeth can be fucked—cavities, gum disease, infections that can spread through your whole body. One quick brush a day stops that buildup before it starts. If you have an itchy arse and don’t wash your bum hole properly, bacteria grows between your cheeks, it smells worse, and can lead to hemorrhoids. When cleaning between your toes, use soap and try balancing on one leg—think about something else while you do it and it gets easier. Balancing on one leg is a practical way of learning how to have good balance all your life. Make sure you dry between your toes properly when you finish. The reason is it doesn’t allow bacteria to grow between the toes, which then causes fungal infections or athlete’s foot—itchiness and redness around the areas between your toes. I’d recommend using unscented normal soap, which I think is better than bath gels because they are mainly water with little soap that doesn’t foam as well as a normal unscented bar of soap. Also wash under your arms properly. If you know somebody who would benefit from this advice, whether they’re 12 or 40 or more, please share this post with them.

In times like this, our humanity will be on show. I believe there are 3 types of people in this world. The WOLVES, The SHEEP and the SHEPHERDS. The Wolves are going to take advantage of the sheep, ie Price Gauging, robbing and eating of the sheep. Be a SHEPHERD and help eachother
