I think we need to bring back calling people "internet famous" instead of calling them "influencers." There needs to be something borderline derogatory injected back into it.
Elon Musk is the modern Thomas Edison, and I mean that as an insult.
Both present themselves as genius inventors and take credit for the innovations produced by their companies.
In reality, that credit belongs to teams of engineers working beneath them, who are required to sign over patent rights so their bosses can claim ownership of whatever they create.
This is a simple case of capitalists taking credit for their workers’ labor and using marketing to portray themselves as isolated geniuses.
In reality, most innovation happens on the shop floor and comes from ordinary working people.
Elon is literally just a guy who receives millions in Government subsidies to pay engineers to work so he can take the credit for what they produce.
A true welfare queen. 👸
