EXTENDED HIGHLIGHTS: @SoftballMaumee crushes Bowling Green 11-0 to advance to the District Finals.

Maumee: @autgug1 went 3-3 at the plate with an RBI. @oservais2029 went 3-3 at the plate with three(!!!) RBIs. @taylorsm2026, Julia Coutcher, and Hannah Ruiz all had two hits. Smith and Reign Hurt has two RBIs. Ruiz also had an RBI.

Bowling Green: Kylie Kubacki had a hit.

Our Varsity Softball Team took down Notre Dame Academy Thursday earning an opportunity to play in District competition 5/21 at Oregon Rec at 3pm vs BGHS.

EXTENDED HIGHLIGHTS: @SoftballMaumee gets the postseason started with a 12-0 Sectional Finals win over Notre Dame.

Maumee: @autgug1, Taryn Pyle, and @taylorsm2026 each went 3-4 at the plate. Smith hit a home run and also had four (!!!) RBI. Reign Hurt, Julia Coutcher, Hannah Ruiz, and Jamie Brooks each had two hits. Each of them had an RBI as well. Pyle also had an RBI. 17 hits as a team. Ruiz struck out seven.

Notre Dame: Payton Shively went 2-3 at the plate. Camdyn Escobar and Hannah Schultz also had hits.

Maumee will face Bowling Green on 5/21 in the Northwest 1 District Semi-Finals. Game is 3 PM on the BCSN+ app.

EXTENDED HIGHLIGHTS: Hitting was once again "contagious" for @SoftballMaumee, as the Panthers won 14-2 over Genoa.

Maumee: Taylor Smith went 3-3 with four RBI. Reign Hurt went 2-3 with three RBI (ouch). Taryn Pyle and Julia Coutcher had three hits each. Autumn Gugger (four runs scored), Reign Hurt, and Lexie Warns each had two. 16 combined for the Panthers.

Genoa: Izzy West had two hits. Kody Teet, Kylie Pennington, and Izzy Britt each had a hit.

The Panthers win their third straight.
