Gratitude post Day #365. Today I am thankful I completed a year of thankfulness posts. I’ve suffered great loss this year, but in the midst of that it helped me to focus on the good. May we all be more intentional about doing that each day.
Gratitude post Day #364. Today I am thankful our oldest and his girlfriend brought over their Ninja Creami, so we could enjoy a healthier version of ice cream after our steak dinner together. Delicious!
Gratitude post Day #363. Today I am thankful we have great relationships with our neighbors. My husband was able to help them trim some tree branches and took down a dead tree between our properties today. It was a win-win since it also opened up our view to the pond.
Gratitude post Day #362. Today I am thankful for my insulated water bottle. It keeps my water cool when I am in the pool, even after it’s been sitting in the sun for hours.
Gratitude post Day #361. Today I am thankful these two felt comfortable resting in my yard both this morning and afternoon. I have not seen them around as much this year, so this was a nice surprise.
Gratitude post Day #360. Today I am thankful to have called this beautiful soul my friend. I have many wonderful memories of times we spent together and I know we will be reunited one day. Godspeed, bud. I love you.
Gratitude post Day #358. Today I am thankful this dog doesn’t mind being brushed. He definitely needed it and it was nice to not have to chase him around the room like I did with Dakota.
Gratitude post Day #357. Today I am thankful my husband makes sure our church sermons are made available on the website, so when I have to miss a Sunday service I can still listen to them.
Gratitude post Day #356. Today I am thankful for police officers, firefighters, healthcare professionals and others who work hard to help others. They often meet people at their lowest point, which can lead to frustration and mistreatment, but they still show up every day.
Gratitude post Say #355. Today I am thankful I live in America and that the rain stopped in time for us to spend Independence Day with good friends in the pool. Happy 249th birthday!
Gratitude post Day #354. Today I am thankful this birthday girl chose to spend part of her day floating in the pool with us. Happy 30th, Courtney! May it be a year filled with blessings.
Gratitude post Day #353. Today I am thankful for my friends. While we celebrated a milestone birthday with some tonight, we are also facing losing another soon. I am blessed by the love that has been shared and know we will all be reunited one day because of our faith in Jesus.
Gratitude post Day #352. Today I am thankful we were able to give this old guy an opportunity to swim again. He loved the water in his younger years, but then arthritis kicked in. I hope to make this happen again soon in an effort to help him live his best life.
Gratitude post Day #351. Today I am thankful my sister kept an umbrella in her car door, so I didn’t have to get wet when a surprise rain shower popped up on my way to an appointment.
Gratitude post Day #350. Today I am thankful I finally got to catch up with my cottage neighbors and then made it home to enjoy pool time and dinner with my son and his girlfriend. Sunshine and meaningful connections are good for my soul.
Gratitude post Day #347. Today I am thankful for this beautiful reminder from the Lord. “Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.” Gen. 9:16
Gratitude post Say #346. Today I am thankful our garden started producing organic food for us to enjoy. My husband put a lot of hard work into this and I am thankful for that as well!
Gratitude post Day #345. Today I am thankful that both of my sons found success in their career choices. It makes me very happy to see them enjoying their jobs and being offered opportunities for advancement.
