My kiddo and I wrote a short story together for Mother's Day. It's so sweet with dismembered body parts, cultists, and murder. Fair warning: it's delightfully gruesome.

@AmitaMurray I can't handle sloppy editing. But beyond that, I hate overdramatic characters. Especially ones that change moods so fast, your head starts spinning like in the Exorcist, just to keep up. Usually these characters are female, but occasionally I come across a male version.
