@TessaBook_455 I originally wrote this first book about 11 years ago. And then over the last decade I've gone back and revised it from time to time, wrote the second book as well. It was not a linear process. Getting married and having a few kids slowed things down a ton as well.

@ElenaMarieBall its amazing how a manuscript will fluctuate. My original manuscript for my novel was 127k, but after several revisions it was down to 109k and much tighter and better paced.
