@AnonRandomiser You said it yourself. He did play on teams. Reality is 99% of pros played on teams and pugged. 1% if not less solely pugged and then made it as a pro - which is what I see most players trying to do in hopes of getting “scouted”

Agreed. Back in my day (heh), most players prioritized playing on teams and getting on the best team possible. FPL/10 mans/pugs were used to supplement development after/before practice. Now I see many players having the opposite approach.

If any young aspiring pros are trying to make it to FPL grinding faceit pugs for elo, stop now and quit wasting your time and effort. Grind team play, scrims, matches and demos/vods. FPL is the biggest waste of time and energy you could ever imagine. No pros play it for a reason.

For everyone who's bringing up ropz, donk, etc, as examples for why you should prioritize pugging instead of team play. 1. they're outliers and you shouldn't base your development on what outliers did. 2. not sure about ropz but donk was still playing on spirit academy
