A 4-year-old boy named Braysen with autism had a meltdown on a United Airlines flight from San Diego to Houston. He screamed and wouldn’t stay seated.

His mom, Lori, was stressed, but the flight crew let her hold him during takeoff and gave him space to calm down. Passengers were patient, played with him, and showed him kindness.

An off-duty crew member later gave Lori a note: “You are superwoman. He is a blessing.”The kindness of strangers turned a difficult flight into a heartwarming one.
