@MickBarryTD @fionapettit71 There is always a limit advocacy should go. Unfortunately Fiona took it too far. Trespass is quite rightly illegal. If someone walked into her house, quite rightly she should have them jailed, no matter her beliefs.

Two weeks ago we met with Dr Willie Reardon, a geneticist with 30 years experience who gave as a priority appointment and treatment while @HSELive decided it was ok for us to wait 2,5 years to hear this news.

I didn't realize that it's suddenly okay to cross autistic people's boundaries and autonomy if you're teaching them a "life skill."

Saying autistic kids need life skills does not mean "we can do whatever we want to get them to do this thing."
