Some like it hot ... Remembering legendary actor Tony Curtis, born #OnThisDay 1925.
Tony loved his cars. While filming #ThePersuaders at Pinewood Studios, he had a spin in the Jensen demonstrator. Soon after, on 15 February 1970 he took the keys of his very own Interceptor II.

Pure automotive excellence. 🇨🇭🇮🇹 The Monteverdi High Speed 375 S by Frua is one of the rarest GTs ever made—only 10 of these beauties were built. A true work of art from the 60s.
🇪🇸 Seat 1200 Sport

Very rare now especially in the UK.
The SEAT 1200 Sport is a landmark vehicle in Spanish automotive history, famously known by its nickname, "Bocanegra" (Black Mouth), due to its distinctive black plastic front grille and bumper unit.
Launched in 1976, it represented a significant milestone: it was the first car to be entirely developed at the SEAT Technical Centre in Martorell, rather than being a direct rebadging of a Fiat model.
The car's design was actually based on a prototype by Italian designer Aldo Sessano, originally intended for the German company NSU. When that project fell through, SEAT acquired the design.
The 1200 Sport was a "parts bin" hero. SEAT engineers had to work within strict constraints, marrying the 124's engine with the 127's gearbox and chassis.
This led to some mechanical quirks—specifically, the engine was mounted at a slight angle to fit the transmission, which occasionally caused gear-shifting difficulties for early owners.
In 1977, SEAT released the 1430 Sport, which used the more powerful engine from the SEAT 1430, pushing output to 77 bhp
The "Bocanegra" name was so iconic that SEAT revived it in 2008 as a special edition styling package for the fourth-generation Ibiza.
For collectors, the 1200 Sport is a rare find outside of Spain. It captures a specific era of transition for SEAT as they began to carve out an identity independent of Fiat.
