@ecobee I am suspicious that there is no published information about what happens when the internet or Ecobee server is not available. Seems like a common question that should be in your FAQ.
@ecobee Your response has some ambiguity in it. It can be read: If the internet is not available than the thermostat won't suddenly turn off but will rather continue to "follow its set schedule". I am asking about scheduled setpoint changes...Please respond directly to the question.
To clarify my question, I see that you have said in the past that the thermostat will "follow its schedule" without internet, but I want to make sure that you don't mean by that it will stay in its currently scheduled setpoints. I want to know if it will follow setpoints changes?
@blinkist Would love it if you added Android Auto support. I've given up Blinkist in the car and now listen to podcasts. Not safe to be using my phone while driving.
@LGUSAMobile Why is that the carrier versions of the G7 have been updated to PIE while the unlocked version has not? Shouldn't the unlocked version be the easier one to upgrade with no custom software? You give the impression that you only care about those that pay you. #LG_G7
@TheHookUp1@Dr_Zzs I don't need all of the programing on the Sonoff itself. I would like the hub or a script running on a wired device to do the connectivity check and then issue the reset command. Does Sonoff support a power cycle command or would I need to issue an off then a separate on command?
