I'M LEAVING FOOTBALL TWITTER...💔
I'M LEAVING FOOTBALL TWITTER...💔
I'M LEAVING FOOTBALL TWITTER...💔
With the football season now officially over after the World Cup, and after finally watching my beloved @Arsenal lift the Premier League trophy... 🏆
I think this is the perfect time.
So by this time tomorrow, I'll officially be stepping away from Football Twitter. 💔
This wasn't an easy decision.
Not even close.
Football Twitter has given me some incredible memories, amazing people, countless debates, endless banter, and a community I'll always be grateful for.
But it's time.
It's time to fully commit to building something I've dreamed about for a long time.
Many of you probably don't know this, but for the past year I've been quietly building in the AI space.
And along the way, I've missed opportunities simply because whenever people asked me,
"Can we see what you've built?"
...I didn't have a personal brand that truly represented what I've been building. 🥲💔
I could've created another account and tried to balance both worlds.
But I know myself.
Eventually, one would've gotten all my attention... and the other would've slowly died.
I don't want that.
If I'm going to build this dream, then I want to give it everything I've got.
A very special thank you to @EBL2017 .
You've genuinely changed the way I see football. Some of the conversations, analyses and perspectives you've shared over the years will stay with me for a very long time.
Thank you, brother. 💚
And to @PeakSxnti
A huge thank you.
A large percentage of the amazing people following me today are here because of that one shout-out you gave me years ago.
I'll never forget that.
Thank you, my brother. ❤️
This isn't goodbye forever.
I'll still be around from time to time.
Football is still football after all. ❤️
And yes...
I'll still make sure Amad Diallo stays humble until he wins a Premier League title. 😭😂
Some traditions must never die.
To everyone I've argued with...
Laughed with...
Celebrated with...
And suffered alongside...
Thank you.
For every reply.
Every repost.
Every laugh.
Every memory.
This account is about to become something completely different.
I hope some of you stick around for what's next.
Here's to a new chapter. ❤️
Arsenal paid Özil and Aubameyang £350k per week each during our struggling days. But somehow, you think we can’t pay Vini more than £400k despite the club being a much healthier financial situation? Lmao
Vinícius Gyökeres Saka
lol, i know it’s early days but can we really pull this off? Premier league will be done in April while we await the Champions league final.
Dear Arsenal, please make it happen 🙏🙏
