This New York Times article is journalistic malpractice. The e-bike riders were killed by SUVs. Cars cause 43,000 deaths every single year, that’s the problem here. We’ve become so normalized to the death caused by cars that journalists are blaming the victims
In case there was any doubt, social media is very much monitored during movements. This is from an Atlanta police homeland security report dated 6/28/23 #StopCopCity#foiaFriday@CopCityVote
Tesla quietly created a team to cancel as many appointments as possible from customers who wanted to bring their vehicles in for service to address driving range complaints. Employees were told they saved Tesla about $1,000 for every canceled appointment https://t.co/If27truHig
The biggest impression Sinéad O’Connor made on me was her performance at the Bob Dylan tribute show a few days after she ripped up the pope’s pic on SNL. She doubled down on her criticism of the church even while being booed by all of Madison Square Garden - she was 26 & so brave

When I say @CityofAtlanta is a company town, it really isn’t hyperbole. We have council members promoting private business. How this isn’t a conflict of interest speaks to how weak out ethics laws are. 🙄 #atlpol#gapol
Sponsor of Georgia’s “divisive concepts” bill (now law) uses fake MLK quote (W Bush actually used it first and a lot) to implicitly criticize “the left” for revisionist history. My head is spinning. 🤔🤷🏽♂️ #gapol

@Mike_M_Klotz True. Having worked for assholes myself, the way this happens is that the person in charge of getting the permit would be blindsided by the need for the permit, given inadequate time to secure it, and finally, blamed when the job is shut down.
