@MichaelGrantBks Thank you. I was just mentioning to the group that we might be reading another book next and they were aghast-they are really looking forward to Front Lines.
@neilhimself A question from my 12 YO, who <3 your books and knows that I follow you here: Will there ever be another Interworld book? Another YA book?
@neilhimself Thank you for the sensible reply! I read EVERYTHING as a kid, and what was above my head I just didn't understand. No trauma. I just didn't get it and thought it was boring. My own kids are the same.
@neilhimself@ImaginWorldsPod Agreed. Popular 'knowledge' often reduces the novel to book burning alone, though, and that's what troubles me. Reminds me of the misunderstandings about themes in Lolita. (Thank you for your reply--I'm all aflutter)

Until things seem a little brighter, I'm retreating into my Harry Potter cave.
@TheLincoln@JoyfullyReviewd It's what the media was expected to focus upon, and they did. Meanwhile, our government is being gutted by a megalomaniac Nazi and that gets but a passing mention.
@IsobelCarr @JoyfullyReviewd My thought is she was forced to do this, so she made her real feelings known. A middle finger to the Orange Menace and his handlers. Every day I think I can't loathe these things any more, and every day they do something more despicable.
@thedigsy It's all about who writes the history, right? Mormon handcart re=enactments are the thing here, and they're also problematic. I can understand pride that they survived, but a lesson about who was put out of the land one survived on certainly doesn't go astray.
Oh HELL yes. @JRWard1 's #The Thief is a cracking good read! Here's one reason I think she stays on top: relatable, strong women, but no "Mary Sues". Full review soon
