Another beautiful new day. You’d never know this is a hospital — it doesn’t feel depressing at all🤔🤔

This morning I went to the hospital and still have tons of meds left. Then I got my tooth pulled at noon and they loaded me up with even more. I’m basically eating medicine as my main course now😭

Just got a tooth pulled and bone grafting this afternoon — $600 gone in one go💰
Dentist says next few days: only soft foods like pudding, yogurt, or steamed eggs. Everything must be cold or room temperature — absolutely no hot food!Prescribed 10 days of Amoxicillin + 7 days of Acetaminophen. Guess I’m living on mush for a while😭
Anyone else know that “just paid and already regretting it” feeling?

Just got quoted $3,450 for a tooth extraction, bone graft, and implant.
And then my wallet told me it was getting ready to go on a diet.😭😭😭

I've had a toothache for the past few days, so I finally went to the dentist.

The treatment plan was:
Wait until the pain settles down,
come back for the extraction,
bone graft afterward,
wait 3–4 months for healing,
take new X-rays,
and then get the implant.😷

Then the dentist said:
"That will be about $3,850."😱

The cost of getting my teeth done is absolutely killing me.
Who else understands what it feels like to not have dental insurance?😭
