Could @tryramp sales please stop cold-calling my personal cell phone
Whatever your demand generation solution is, you should stop using it because it's producing unbelievably irrelevant leads
kthxbye
Stupid idea: log in with credit card details
A small transaction gives proof of identity
Account theft can (probably) be prosecuted as wire fraud
No need to remember passwords since they're already in your wallet
(this is very stupid please don't actually implement this)
@insigzeroes@lauriewired@Jonathan_Blow Laurie is literally quoting Jonathan Blow's marketing materials
How is that a baseless claim about Jonathan Blow's game? Or are you saying his marketing materials are wrong?

@Acerola_t@crthpl_ This data is from Cast AI, a 3rd party that sells cluster optimization software. Cast AI is emphatically not a part of the Linux Foundation, which is the steward of k8s.
@Acerola_t This isn't correct. You're citing a report from Cast AI, a 3rd party that sells optimization software to cluster operators, which cannot make accurate generalized claims about k8s or hyperscaler hardware utilization.
Non-spot capacity is often entirely sold out in cloud regions.
It's interesting to watch Instagram & YouTube short video players rapidly respond to each other's UI improvements.
Gestures, layouts, affordances...one adds, and soon the other copies.
I bet there is some standing meeting + ticket label for competitive catch-up in both orgs...
A faster fax machine & copier will increase the speed at which an organization can produce and transmit paperwork. But is creating lots of paperwork a sign of a healthy organization? Similarly, is creating lots of code a sign of a healthy technical approach?
@GrantSlatton I try to use it and then it turns out the app doesn't implement it and I look like an idiot while pondering how I can find the feedback button lol
@joshua_amaju@munawwarfiroz@jamwt@inertiajs I think introducing React, Vue, or Svelte via any route (including InertiaJS) creates mountains of complexity to the detriment of both product quality and ease of development.
@munawwarfiroz@jamwt Yep. And fully server avoids the performance penalties & debugging complexities caused by introducing a distributed system when one isn't necessary.
@istvan_csanady IMO the only CAD startup founded in the past 10 years that "gets it" is LEAP 71.
They dogfood their product to develop serious hardware (e.g. rocket engines) and think from an integrated CAD+CAE+CAM perspective.
Notably, their solution is very different from the other startups.
