Godard scored the game winner 1:49 in OT as the Wolves narrowly beat the Rock by a score of 3-2 in front of a crowd of 20375 at The Den. Marian Girardi earned his 2nd win of the Regular Season by making 34 saves on 36 shots. Godard was named the First star of the game.

Commodore scored the winner 5:25 into the 1st as the Wolves pummelled Kelowna by a score of 6-2 in front of a crowd of 16808 at The Den. McSween earned his 6th win of the Season making 11 saves on 13 shots. AV forward Lyle Matthias scored twice and was named the First star.

Marian Girardi will make his first start in goal as a memeber of the Wolves tonight, and only his 2nd start of the season. AV is in Moose Jaw tonight to face the 1-27-0 Buccaneers.

Coach Lawrence Cheveldae is 6-3-0 since taking over for @av_wolves. The team has climbed from 9th to 7th in that time in the Loonie Conference playoff race. Lots of hockey to still be played the season but the fans of AV seem to have some hope again.

Well in a surprise move this morning GM Hodgson has made a coaching change. Simon Eliasson has been fired by Alberni Valley Wolves
Lawrence Cheveldae was hired by Alberni Valley Wolves.

Marian Girardi will be backing up McSween tonight when the Wolves play @StroudOutlaws. Carol Christian will also be making his debut for AV this season as he replaces Gage on the blueline. Coach is also contemplating on change up front but nothing confirmed yet. Puck drop 5pm PST
