This man called the police in Columbus, Ohio after a person online manipulated his 11-year-old daughter into sending intimate photos of herself to him.
The father wanted officers to speak to his daughter to help her “realize what this was."
The officers reacted by telling him that his 11-year-old daughter “could probably get charged with child p-rn,”
“Who? She can?” the father responded. “She’s 11 years old.”
“Doesn’t matter. She’s still making p-rn," the officer responded.
This is why we need people trained in various specialities to deal with situations like this, and not police officers. This is pathetic. I want to hear from the @ColumbusPolice how this is at all even remotely ok.
The way these men view the legal age of consent as “the youngest person you can have sex with without going to jail” instead of “the age at which teenagers should be legally allowed to explore sex” tells you *absolutely everything* you need to know.
He’s now trying to raise money to look for Alissa and “other American women” who have been trafficked. This is what happens when you give narcissists a platform. It doesn’t matter how bad you make him look, he’s now amassed followers that believe him and don’t believe Alissa.
“But she IS dead…(laughter)…she was a regular person. Just write ‘em a check. $11,000. She was 26 anyway. She had limited value.”
You can’t reform this.
At me next time, sis 😚 or are you too busy baiting people who would never stand up for you given the chance? 😆 also bold to just… ignore the entire video’s contents just for a couple likes! Have you considered a new hobby? Like foraging? Or reading comprehension?
The girl in the video below is a friend of mine from college, Julia.
She hosts a podcast where she talks about breakups, relationships and trying to love yourself at any stage you are in.
The fact that Matt took her video out of context to build some commentary that fits a hyper-negative narrative and chooses to call her “stupid” is not just cruel but flat out uninformed. The point of most of Julia’s content is to say “even if you are alone, even if you are going through a breakup, even if you haven’t found “the one” yet to start a family… there are ways to find joy through that.”
It just so happens that her Sunday joy is celebrating learning to cook a new dish and watch reality TV ‘guilt free’. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
And please, let’s not forget when we share commentary on content, there are real people behind those videos / posts and more often than not we do not get a full picture in a few minutes long video or a few sentences.
