What an incredible job by Hickory's Ava Liburdi in her FINAL round in High School. She shoots a 73 & makes the final putt to clinch the state title. How hard has Ava worked? In '21 at team states she shot a 87, in '22 she shot 7 shots better with an 80 & today 7 shots better!!

Also competing with strong scores were Madey Myers at 84, and Vianna Miller and Reese Brewster each had 91. This concludes the regular season schedule and the girls will compete Monday for the D10 Team Title against Fairview.

Seniors Sasha Petrochko & Ava Liburdi finished their Region 1 careers in fashion, by shooting 69 & 70 respectively. Each girl exemplifies what hard work & commitment mean to the success they've had the last 3+ years by winning 4 Region 1 titles, 2 D10 Titles, & 2 PIAA Titles.
