Jenson Button, 2020: "[Lewis] does not play games. He will never play dirty. In fact, I think he’s the cleanest guy I ever raced against."
Lando Norris, 2024: "There's always guys you give extra meters, and there's guys you know you can race well and Lewis is one of those guys."
David Coulthard, 2024: "Lewis actually has done it in a very, let's say, uncontroversial way. He's a very clean racer."
David Coulthard, 2026: "Of the four, Schumacher, Hamilton, Senna, Verstappen, arguably Lewis is the least controversial on track, which should be acknowledged of course."
Luciano Burti, 2021: "By the way I think when you compare Hamilton with other great champions, like Senna and Schumacher, he is the cleanest of these guys."
Etc.
Lewis Hamilton will have 400 grand prix starts before the end of this season. The same 2 or 3 moments, maybe 5 at a stretch, in FOUR HUNDRED races are recycled online by people who've never raced in F1, to deem him a "dirty driver" but they don't change objectively staggering evidence and history of the contrary or stand up to opinions of drivers who've actually raced him.
#ItalianGP 🇮🇹 | Lewis Hamilton on whether fans should be concerned about a potential falling out between himself and Leclerc:
“Look, I don't race dirty. I've always raced clean and fairly and always left space. And so I don't think they should be worried about me.”
“I mean, I've come into the team and tried to be respectful of space and definitely not put the team in jeopardy and I stand by that, and that's all I can talk about, my side.”
“You have to speak to Fred about the other side and decisions that that are taken there. But I'll keep pushing and trying to get more from the team and from my car and from the engineers and design and everything like that.”
“It comes down to rules of engagement. When I was at Mercedes, we had written rules of engagement. So we never really had it too bad. There was a moment maybe with me and Nico a couple of times, but more often than not it was good. Here, there are no rules, and I think that's something that we need to try and fix.”
“Nobody is illegal on stolen land. We need to keep fighting and speaking up. Our voices do matter."
— Billie Eilish during her acceptance speech at the #GRAMMYs
truthfully, I think Justin performed in that attire and small production to prove a point that he doesn’t need a huge production and glam to be the best. his vocals outshined everything and everyone tonight. incredible.
i am unfortunately traumatized enough to not believe in any positive news about ferrari’s car until it hits the track and doesn’t associate with tractor memes immediately
Sir Lewis Hamilton: "The time I spent in Jordan visiting a hospital and aid packaging facility dedicated to helping people in Gaza was life changing."
"When you see what's happening on the ground, it can be so easy to feel hopeless and like there's nothing we can do to help. I thought that feeling of hopelessness would've been what I took away from my visit, but it wasn't."
"What resonated the most was the spirit of resilience and humanity. The spirit of the families fighting for their survival. The spirit of doctors working tirelessly to save them. The spirit of the teams from the British Red Cross, Jordan Red Crescent and the Palestine Red Crescent Societies doing everything they can to deliver aid. We would all benefit from their spirit of resilience and their determination to help those who need it."
"Help is possible, ending this suffering is possible, but the trickle of aid currently reaching Gaza is nowhere near enough. Humanitarian organisations must be allowed to reach the places where help is needed, and they desperately need us to use our voices, and our donations, to help them do so. If you can, join me in donating to the British Red Cross or any of the incredible charities continuing to deliver care, dignity and hope to the people in Gaza and please, do not stop talking about this. We must keep lending our voices and our attention to this crisis. We must continue to speak up for what is right."
