Dear young softball players, don’t get caught up worrying about the numbers. Your batting average doesn’t reflect every at bat, the weight you lift doesn’t reflect your ability to play ball, the ranking you do/don’t have doesn’t define you as a player. Enjoy the game!

Not a bad first day yesterday. Plenty to work on. Then you look up and see 5 or 6 players from last years team in the stands. Then we have a dad from last year's team sitting in his normal right field spot. He lives 2 hours away. Pretty special.
