Game 1:
Lowell used a 16-pt run to turn an early 3-pt deficit into a 22-9 lead early in the 2nd qtr. Thornapple-Kellogg chipped away and got the margin down to 6 early in the 3rd qtr, but Lowell responded with an 11-0 run to open it back up to 40-23. T-K went on a 9-2 run to cut it down to 42-32, but that was as close as they could get in the 4th. Lowell wins 53-38.

Soph Avary Slanger (pictured, #2), and jrs Mady Hayes (pictured, #22) and Layla Risdon (pictured, #24) combined for 46 of Lowell's 53 points. Slanger was aggressive on the boards, hauling in everything she could get to amass a 15-&-18 double-double. Hayes pulled down 7 more rebounds to go along with her team-high 16 points. Risdon hit a trio of 3s in adding 15 points.

For Thornapple-Kellogg, jr Reece Ritsema finished smoothly around the basket and was active on the boards for a 13-&-10 double-double, while soph Taylor Lloyd (pictured, r) got into her shot smoothly off the dribble and used her quickness to get to the basket in scoring a team-high 16 points.
