@ericbrinkman @gitlab The links exposed through "Releases" should not be "direct", but "managed" by Gitlab in order to:
- be able to provide statistics for downloads
- be able to offer "predictable" links that only depend on the version/tag (as a example, this is useful for installer scripts).
