We are thrilled to announce the official release of the MetaPerson avatars! This is the culmination of our team's work for more than a year! Get all the details at https://t.co/b9Sfb6FVuH
This is the one many of you have been waiting for. You can now generate Roblox-compatible avatars directly from the MetaPerson Creator and bring them into Roblox Studio in minutes.
Enable the Roblox-ready option, generate your avatar, and export it as an FBX file. From there, import the model into Roblox Studio, customize clothing and hair assets, and deploy it as the player character or NPC.
Proud to have enabled this research from the University of Barcelona with realistic avatars from Avatar SDK (link to the original post in the first comment).
Our avatars are adopted across a wide spectrum of VR apps and ecosystems!
We are at GDC in San Francisco next week, showing the latest MetaPerson Creator and unveiling something really cool on Wednesday. Stay tuned, and PM if you want to meet there!
Come meet our CEO @verukhimov at AWE Europe in Vienna @ARealityEvent on October 29. He will share the stage with @MercedesBenz to talk about realistic avatars!
I wrote a blog post explaining how the 3D Visualization of my AI Assistant Rosie was made. I explain how I used @avatarsdk to create the avatar, Wonderland Engine (@WebXREngine) to bring her to life, and @Azure for the AI and speech.

I finally gave my AI Assistant a 3D face! I've used @avatarsdk to create an avatar and @WebXREngine to render (PBR) and control her. Visemes are sent between the core Rosie app and the visualization to drive mouth movement. Detailed blog post coming soon! #azureopenai#webxr
@mzermarts@UnrealEngine You can use the MetaPerson Creator to generate an avatar, customize it and export it to fbx for free. You only need to pay when you integrate Avatar SDK into your product.
