Ironic you asking Casey Hankinson to name another Edina male athlete who excelled in three sports.
 Dad, John Hankinson (Edina Class of ’61), was himself one of the greatest three-sport athletes in Edina/state history — earning 10 varsity letters (4 baseball, 3 football as QB, 3 basketball). He was all state/district. He later set multiple records as starting QB at the University of Minnesota. And was accomplished enough to play hockey had he wanted.
 John ranks right up there with the best in the state from that era (pre-Mauer and Weinke).
