System upgrade, maintenance, technical issues — we understand. But how long are candidates expected to keep waiting?

The JAMB CAPS platform is a critical part of the admission process. Candidates rely on it to check their admission status, accept offers and complete processes that can directly affect their academic future.

When the system remains inaccessible or unstable longer than expected, it is not just a minor inconvenience. It creates serious uncertainty for thousands of candidates who are waiting for decisions that affect their next step in life.

Candidates have already spent months waiting, checking their portals repeatedly and hoping to see their admission status updated. They should not now be left wondering whether the delay is from their institution, JAMB, CAPS or a technical problem.

@JAMBHQ, we need clear answers.

📌 What exactly is happening with CAPS?
📌 Why is the system still unavailable or unstable?
📌 When exactly should candidates expect full restoration?
📌 Are admission processes still being updated in the background?
📌 What happens to candidates whose admission offers are affected by the disruption?
📌 Will candidates be given adequate time if the system prevents them from completing an admission-related action before a deadline?

Please do not leave candidates to depend on rumours and social-media speculation.

If there is a technical problem, communicate it clearly.

If there is maintenance, tell candidates what is being done.

If there is a delay, provide a realistic timeline.

And most importantly, make sure candidates are not disadvantaged because of a system problem that is outside their control.

Admission is not something candidates can afford to take lightly. Behind every application is a student, a family, months of preparation, financial commitments and expectations for the future.

We are calling on JAMB to treat this matter with the urgency it deserves.

Candidates have waited long enough.

Fix the system. Give clear information. Protect affected candidates.
