Time to dust off the golf Twitter!! TERRIFIC start from the Avengers yesterday at Valley against Pilgrim and TollGate. They fired a 148, with freshman Grayson Moore leading the way with a 36. Aside from the retro 70’s pants, it was a great day! 😂😂😂😂

Congratulations to the team for winning the Central Division title this season. Also, congratulations to senior Ryan Marcantonio for winning the John Gray Award for lowest regular season stroke average in the state of Rhode Island.

Even though the team has been playing great, they were challenged to start scoring in the 140’s. Their response? Today they shot 145 with four scores in the 30’s, throwing out a 40 and 41. Strong playing.

The boys continued their strong play today by shooting 156 at a difficult West Warwick golf course while dealing with intermittent showers. The best is yet to come for this squad as they look to improve as the season progresses

The Avengers continues their strong early season play with a gritty 155 yesterday at Potowomut . The winds were gusting to 35 mph and the team handled the conditions well. Ryan Marcantonio led the way with a 35, eagling the 9th . They travel to West Warwick today

Team had their yearly practice at Shelter Harbor today. Getting work in while playing such a gem of a course (and Misquamicut in two weeks, Rhode Island Country Club last week of season) is the best of all worlds
