Here we see #ArtemisiaGentileschi’s painting of Judith and her Maidservant, 1614-15 (in the ornate frame). You can see her father #OrazioGentileschi’s painting of the same subject in 1608. From the amazing Artemisia show @NationalGallery which opens 3 Oct.

Another #Unlockdown (an art collaboration project between @drawnfromclay & I) sculpture. Like our 1st piece this one also has a central #ceramic figurative element, within a wooden framework structure. But for this I charred the wood & coated it in resin.

Who has seen the new Emma? Last week I went to see Unbound: Visionary Women Collecting Textiles @twotempleplace (now temporarily closed due to Coronavirus situation) and was wowed by this gorgeous silk taffeta jacket, called a Spencer. This one is from 1815-17.
