@avacadopow@mikasaloveon@UmbilicalKordei why does there even have to be a judgement then lmao they don’t really exist as anything yet ? these are just faces the kpop industry is odd
the girls are so underfunded or mismanaged they either have to run down the streets of hollywood in sneakers while singing their songs or fight ai tigers while whining infront of a terrible greenscreen as their choice for visuals
bigotry = BLOCKED
talking shit about me = BLOCKED
too many bad takes = BLOCKED
soft blocking me = HARD BLOCK FOR YOU
being overly negative = BLOCKED
starting drama with me = BLOCKED
@elleis4l0ve and lastly if anything i just wish we had more artists who had the genius to be truly in control of their creative decisions like pinkpantheress because she’s really one of the girls who i’m betting on to be one of the legends in pop music
@elleis4l0ve & colorism & featurism doesn’t help either because tyla is also visibly afforded wayyyy more grace than a lot of darkskinned female musicians especially when it comes to ideas by other artists being taken by her team
@aveolyn Or that they don't get to go on festival tours and have seas of people chanting their music. Or that their songs don't hit the top 10 ever. This is why 2021 VMAs is forever my fondest memory. Chlöe and Normani performing their hits on a huge mainstream stage
@aveolyn & Pop in this case = popular. You had Brandy, Monica, Ashanti, Mya, Beyonce, Rihanna, MJB, Kelis, Aaliyah, Ciara, etc ACTUALLY moving units, doing award shows, real budgets, hits etc. By the end of the 2010s it was literally just Bey & Rih left standing.
@elleis4l0ve & everybody is so focused on making history repeat itself & every artist has to be a new version of an old one (rihanna&tyla, chloe bailey&beyonce for example) and if it’s not one of those boxes apparently they “havent found their sound” & their teams are pushing it too
@elleis4l0ve it feels like the entertainment industry is trying to get rid of black women as a whole & at the same time there has been a wave of new talented black women. the stan wars aren’t making it better either because they think only one black pop girl can make it
y’all allow people to have too much power over you on this app… because I’m QUICK to block… why would I allow someone on the internet to make me feel a type of way when I can simply BLOCK THEM
i absolutely despise the current marketing trends that target women + feminine consumers. why do they keep calling everyone girlies. why is every video titled “[thing] for cool girls” or “where/what cool girls are shopping/doing”. it’s driving me nuts
