@WhitePepperESQ Here’s my question. What do fans expect? Like people who know and watch football. 3rd and 17 at your own 6. It’s usually a screen/run and punt spot. He looked at first read, covered, and got rid of it. No sack, no safety, no pick. How many 3rd and 17s get converted?

@SiClancy We can be. Him running for at most 3-5 yards, knowing his concussion history. (Nobody says DB won’t take a cheap shot on a slide. Happened to Herbert and Geno last night) is not worth spending half a season watching backup QBs like last year. That’s where I’m at.

@SiClancy He’s 5 yards in the backfield. DB probably runs a 4.4/4.5 at worst. There’s no yards there. I’m more concerned with how this looks like the most incompetent offense (or team) in the league. How much is he to blame for that? Who knows. But McDaniel certainly is.

@ClintRLamb Running essentially press man on 3rd and 11 is just mind numbing at this point. We did the same thing under Golding. With him we’d blitz LBs and give up wide open slants. Same shit different DC honestly. Bizarre.

@ClintRLamb Haven’t seen anyone say this. Why on every 3rd and long do we feel the need to bring house and sit in cover 1? Because we have no pass rush. A good team can bring 4 and play a softer zone to keep the ball in front of the sticks. We can’t because the QB will have all day to throw.

@ByCasagrande FSU is a 10-2 / 9-3 team that was hungry and wanted it more. Damning for our guys to be out passioned. Ty looked good, made some mistakes in his first start and in hostile environment. Deboer should have fired people (Roach, Wommack) and that could get him fired that he didn’t.

@TDAlabamaMag Ty is an upgrade at QB. Was really solid. Lots of good throws. One or two horrendous. He’s going to be really good this year. Defense is shitty. DLine and linebackers are horrific. Kane and Freddie should have been canned last season and I can’t see why they’re back.
