@JeremyH10588071@K3nB3n I’ve been to Cuba, America has huge propaganda over what Cuba really is like (yes they do have some censorship), however for the average person in Cuba that wasn’t rich, Castro improved quality of life for them
@persconcerned@TheChaosWeeber Those people shouldn’t be in power it’s that simple, don’t discriminate against the whole religion over it. If a Christian extremist was doing this would you stereotype Christianity as everyone being bad? Fuck no, this is just you being biased, and having a bias against Islam
@persconcerned@TheChaosWeeber For example, under bill 21 in Quebec you’re not allowed to wear a cross necklace like this to work, which many Christian’s do wear
@persconcerned@TheChaosWeeber Fuck no, you should have the right to express your religion in any line of work
You don’t have to force it, but public educators should have the right to wear a crucifix, turban, hijab, etc
@Joe757649@emiofemiverse@CYOOPilotChad@k1ngdimitar@berdyn Being a law abiding citizen is being Canadian. They have the free will to do what aswell, Notice how I said whites? Most whites only want to live with themselves, even the “progressive” ones. A lot of property values nowadays are based on how white a community is
@Joe757649@emiofemiverse@CYOOPilotChad@k1ngdimitar@berdyn “Divided isn’t the right word” whites and South Asians just really prefer living among there own, other ethnicities in my experience don’t have this same preference but feel obligated to
@Joe757649@emiofemiverse@CYOOPilotChad@k1ngdimitar@berdyn People that don’t want to assimilate should be deported that’s common knowledge. The issue is I know immigrants that DO want to assimilate (which isn’t hard to do btw it’s just being a law abiding citizen), generalizing all Muslims as people that don’t want to assimilate is wrong
@TheChaosWeeber You can’t agree with lgbtq rights (based to believe in lgbtq rights btw), and than disagree with the right to practice someone’s religion, it’s hypocritical as fuck
I don’t like Islam (or religion) either, but they have the same rights like every other citizen
@JustinBruner15@NoelSkum22@AbuHafsah1 ???
Arabic is a language, it has nothing to do with Islam, the reason God is commonly called Allah in Islam is because the Quran was written in Arabic
You can speak Arabic and be Christian
@JustinBruner15@NoelSkum22@AbuHafsah1 So to an Arabic speaker, Jesus would be Allah because Allah is god in Arabic
Allah and god are not two separate beings, they both mean the same thing in different languages
@Mitche11R@emiofemiverse@CYOOPilotChad@k1ngdimitar@berdyn Islam in of itself is not extremism, however extremists in every religion exist
Would you really consider someone like Mamdani an extremist just because he’s muslim? Obviously not, its interpretation
