Something I needed to hear today: when you’re in the process of becoming an expert it takes time to build that intuition. The long nights grinding are temporary but necessary.
Three all nighters this week has proven to me the power of joy in how you spend your time and how doing things you love gives you energy in spite of spending it.
But also 🤪 feeling funky
Working at Scelta these last 5 months has been this every day.
And I’ve also grown more in the last 5 months than the last 2 years.
Coincidence?
More reps = more results.
The only time you know what youre doing in business is when you’ve done it before.
So if youre growing, get used to the feeling of being inept, having no idea what youre doing, and looking like an idiot when you make obvious avoidable mistakes.
It’s just part of figuring it out
🧠 Sunday’s work focus playlist: the soundtrack from one of my favourite game series (we love to hate Catalyst but it’s still fun to jump around)

I realized today that every skill I’ve developed over the last 3 years were individual puzzle pieces. Each piece on its own didn’t have huge value, but now an opportunity has come that has smashed them all together in one big business offer picture.
Treat your attention like a competition.
Who is winning it?
Who deserves it the most?
If the answer is something that doesn’t benefit you, then you’re losing.
And we all hate losing, right?
This is what it looks like on a struggling, chronically ill streamers day off; greasy hair, fatigued beyond belief, sitting and trembling on the floor waiting for laundry to be done. A lot of laying in bed. Trying really hard to catch up on stuff. Trying to find the physical means to get myself in the shower finally.
There is so much you don’t see. You see me all prettied up on stream with a smile on my face…that is part of my reality, sure. But you are only seeing about 20% of my reality. The rest of the 80% is much like this.
I want to start posting more about my life off-stream…but this is what it looks like every day. It might not be what everyone cares to see, but it’s the reality of so many chronically ill streamers and I want to be as transparent about it as possible as to continue my pursuit to raise awareness.
