@douglass_meghan My favorite short story writer does a short, one-sentence blurb of the most thematic of the stories in the book, then introduces the main themes in a few punchy sentences. These can also explain the purpose of the collection— fear, sadness, wistfulness, etc

Ideally, I would be the one to fold the laundry, but being a #spoonie household means that we only get a certain number of Chores per week before we run out of energy, so half the time she folds the laundry.

Allow me to preface this by saying I love my wife very deeply. She is such a light in my life and I’m so grateful to know her. She’s truly an amazing person. That being said, she’s terrible at folding laundry.

She has ADHD, so the task of Folding the Laundry being done at all is cause for celebration, and I always thank her when she does it, mentally preparing for how I’m going to surreptitiously re-fold it.

A leaf blower. Like the steel broom, this is useful for powder snow, but loses its effectiveness after about three inches. 5/10.

A window squeegee. Points for creativity. Ultimately useless. The rubber will crack from the cold. 2/10.

A steel broom. This is powder snow, so somewhat effective. Slightly worried about the snow sticking to the bristles. Also, it doesn’t remove packed snow. 6/10.
