A bit of late news here: In July, I was promoted to the rank of Full Professor at the University of Utah, where I have been fortunate to spend more than a decade surrounded by, and working in service of, many brilliant and compassionate colleagues who continue to be wellsprings of inspiration. While I couldn't have imagined ever reaching this pinnacle, I certainly could not have done it without the confidence of my family, my friends, my mentors, and my colleagues, who have found ways to see the better sides of my imperfectness and who continue to inspire me to be and be better. #GoUtes @UUtah@UofUHumanities@UofUComm

On a @delta flight (DL1623) landing in Denver via Salt Lake just now. Our flight took a big anti-collision maneuver as we were touching down. Pilot: “there was another aircraft on our runway.” Absolute insanity, and huge props to the pilot for handling. 🙏 Unreal. #ICA25@icahdq
