⛔️ Long Post!

Been trying to find the right words about how special this team is all night… so here it goes.

This group is so much more than a softball team. They're teammates who became family, competitors who never backed down, and a group of girls who showed what heart, grit, and resilience looks like every single game. I tell everyone that plays for me, I’m not the easiest coach to play for, I get loud, sometimes holler 🤣, have high standards and expectations and give tough love! I get it, I’m not for everyone! But the right ones that get it understand! One thing about it though, can ask any player that has played for me that I care and love them like my own kid and they know I care for them as a person first, then a softball player!

This team went 30-4-5 this yr against some of the top teams in the country. One loss in Colorado at the IDT was against Batbusters Stith (went on and won the championship), the 2 loses this week at PGF were against the 2 teams playing for the national championship (both by 1 run)! This team was battle tested for sure! All week it was a grind and was just a different feeling, they were just so relaxed and loose and it was really fun to watch!

Top 5 finish at IDT and 3rd place finish in PGF Premier division! Pretty damn good!

Finishing 3rd at PGF Premier Nationals is an incredible accomplishment, but this season will be remembered for so much more than a trophy. It was the early mornings, the long weekends, the laughter in the dugout, the tears, the big moments, and the way they always found a way to play for each other.
Watching this team compete with so much passion and represent themselves with class has been an absolute privilege. They proved that success isn't just measured by where you finish—it's measured by the relationships you build, the adversity you overcome, and the legacy you leave behind.
To this special group: thank you for the memories, the fight, and for making this season one we'll never forget. Third in the nation is something to be incredibly proud of, and the bond you created and the impact you've had on each other is what makes this team truly special.

Honored to make the 2025-26 Softball Super Elite Team! As well as second team for the all-brazos valley softball team (congrats @TaylorAkin2027 for first team!) Meanwhile, also making the honor of All-Academic team and our team being the 3A top 200 stats! So much to celebrate!
