Avery Stindt of Republic County is having a phenomenal senior softball season so far at the plate. Stindt is hitting an outstanding .603 on the year with 35 hits and 29 RBI. She also has 38 stolen bases on the season and a fielding percentage of .935. Stindt was also a standout on the Republic County basketball team this winter and led them to their first win in over 1,000 days and surpassed 1,000 career points in the final game of her basketball career. #sportsinkansas

Avery Stindt, senior from Republic County, scored her 1,000th point in her final game in a substate loss to Conway Springs. Stindt had 15 points in the loss and ended her career with 1,009. #sportsinkansas

Republic County picked up their first win in over 1,000 days earlier this season and got their second and third wins Friday night over Lyons 42-36 and Tuesday over Ell Saline 45-40. The Buffalos are led by senior Avery Stindt who is averaging 15.0 points per game and has had 17 and 25 in the last two contests. Stindt adds 5.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.9 steals per game. A good example of persistence as she hadn’t won a high school basketball game in her career and continued to push to get better. #sportsinkansas

Took on Nationals in Branson, MO and we came away with National Runner-ups. Went 5-3 with two shut outs. In the two videos I am the batter in the first and the third baseman in the second one! One more tournament left with the squad this summer in Hutchinson, KS in July 19-21.

Went down to Viera, Florida for the Space Coast World Series this past week with the squad. Ended up getting 5th place! This was a great experience for us as we go to Branson, Missouri in July 8-13 for our National Tournament!

Had an AMAZING weekend at the USSSA C State Tournament. We went 7-1 and took home the First Place finish!! We are now off to Melbourne, FL for the World Series next week!
